Help bring #BusinessRulesforWomen Panel to SXSW 2016

We are excited to be joining forces with @BusinessRulesforWomen to bring all of you female businesswomen and entrepreneurs something new and valuable to SXSW 2016.

For those of you who are not familiar, South by Southwest is a set of film, interactive, and music festivals and conferences that take place early each year in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United States. Year after year, the event has grown tremendously, attracting tons of people from around the world interested in learning about the newest trends, technology, movies, films, and music.

This year we want to add value to the panel discussion and we need your help!

The Panels:

Business Rules for Women: Entertainment & Media

This session will begin with an interactive speed networking exercise that I have used at previous events. The exercise is staged like bingo with a twist. Attendees will have a sheet with 20 squares and will be given 10 minutes to find professionals that fit the description (i.e. Talent Manager, Blogger and Online Personality). Next, the panelists will have up to 2 minutes each to introduce themselves by stating their names, current position, brand represented. The panel moderator will proceed with three questions that create dialogue for the panelists to answer. The last 10 minutes will be used to take questions from the audience.

Questions Answered

  1. How would you describe your journey in entertainment?
  2. What was your most difficult decision in your entertainment career?
  3. How important is networking and how did you stand out?
